Our thriller film location-forest. We have decided when the title is shown we will use a loud sound to emphasize the title of the film.We shall then use a typical convention of a thriller film which is non diegetic mysterious, dangerous music in order to create tension and fear amongst the audience. We will make these sounds by using a soundtrack with instruments such as Violins, pianos etc.The film begins with the camera tracking feet running, crushing leaves and panting sounds, these sounds are all diegetic. Having this opening we felt draws the audience in as we know someone is in some sort of danger but as we can only see the feet we are unsure of what is happening/going to happen this creates a sense of anticipation for the audience. The next scene, the person receives a message, there is a close up of the message which says ‘I can see you’Close up of characters facial expression, this gives the audience an insight to how the character is feeling. She looks around and this is where we use an establishing shot plus a POV shot of the forest surrounding the character, there are diegetic sounds of the birds etc.We then see another POV shot watching the character this then makes it clear to the audience that someone is watching the character, this creates the audience to feel anxious. The girl begins to run again which we as the audience will have our hearts racing as we will feel as we are the girl running and next thing we see is a man putting her in a sack, this makes use of a prop and also creates anxiety amongst the audience.

Media Film Treatment for our thriller opening "look behind you"
Look behind you is a thriller movie based on a man (Damien Merda) who had a troubled childhood which led to his psychological problems with women as his mother abused him when he was a child, his childhood was full of sorrow and pain. He was only five years of age when he saw his mother stabbed his father 13 times right in front of his eyes since that very day (13 October) he vowed to never trust a women again and made it his ultimate goal to punish women that came across his path.
The film starts of with one of Damien’s many victims (Kelly Bay) running through a forest, out breath and energy he sends her text which reads: ‘I can see you, look behind you’ this is pattern that follows through as every one of his victims receives this text. Kelly is eventually captured by Damien without his identity being revealed till later on in the film, she is taken to an underground hideaway where she meets many female victims like herself who are bound behind bars and drugged.
Kelly makes many attempts to escape but fails every time, meanwhile there are search hunts being carried out by the police as there have been many women claimed missing, at this point Damien’s identity is still not revealed , days pass and the female victims are killed off one by one on a daily basis.
The police try their hardest to get to the bottom of the mysterious disappearances of these women , and are close to finding out the truth but along the way they come across a female who has been brutally murdered and is buried in leaves, they call and ambulance and gather together more police officers to search further into the area.
While the police where carrying out their search in the area they spotted a man walking 100 metres away from them with a sack in his hand , the deputy head police officer ( Neil fox ) order the police to follow this man in a discrete way, they did has they were told and were led to a place filled with women victims who alerted the police to speed up as Damien was about to murder another woman, finally he was arrested and the women were freed.

Normally the codes and conventions of a thriller film consist of them being dark, with shadows which can be interpreted to be the killer in some cases. There is always weird, non diegetic music which is being played. Thriller films give us the image of a person(s) being killed but we don't see it for our self. It also has a lot to do with suspense.
Phone Booth: avoids main thriller convention apart from the fact that you are being told a story from the killers point of view. It's more of a psychological thriller as it plays with your mind.
Kill bill: fade in typography in the credit in terms of thriller films it could represent people dying, a person fading from this world.
Panting in thriller mean that a person is being hurt or is trying to escape.
Has a quote by old Klington proverb:- talks about revenge which gives some idea what the film is based on.
Crypt: There is images of skulls which can link to the fact that there will be death.
The camera is also shaking which could represent how the charaters fell or even the audience.
Music is sharpe in a thriller film it creates tension

What i got from the feedback about our video is that we used good close we had varied shots and used great angles, We used a very good panning shot.
The only problem was that the story line should of been more clear and we should of had better quality of sound.

Also in the beginning of the film it told us where they were this we were told could mean that they might be filming in different locations.
