For my video I was going to experiment with the idea of having more that one girl singing the song to see if it would work it will sort of be like a girl group, even though it is only Lady Gaga singing the song I will try and see if this idea works.
For my media music Video I am doing the song 'Fashion' by Lady Gaga.
For the time being to my knowledge it will be performance base but that can be changed depending on what works better, since I am toying around with having narrative which may not technically count as a narrative but it most definitely not a performance I was thinking of having it as if they are a group of frineds just hanging out at each others house trying on clothes and genreally just getting excited at the site of clothes but I'm not sure whether this will be in the music video i will have to see how it works out.
The reason for me making it performance base is that the lyrics of the song just does not have any narrative element to it and I feel that it will work better if it was performance based because that way I can draw in an audience that ranges from male to female and of and ages because most people has a passion for fashion.
I already have an idea of where I would like my location to be but will try to get permission to shoot there. i was going to ask my friends dad if would allow me to use his hall as there will be a choreographed dance routine and I want it done in the hall. Then I was going to do individual shoots of the artists in different locations or the same location I may try both of them out.
I want the music video to be colourful and bright which I already know maybe an obstacle that I will have to see if I will be able to do it but I have a feeling that it will work with the song since doing research in to the genre it is a common code for it to be bright and flashy and I want to also experiment with having fast edits in it which is something I may struggle with due to getting the timing right but I am determined to have it in the video.
I am most likely going to have some Lady Gaga styles in but not a lot I may also try and incorporate a bit of Korean style that way I'm broadening my target audience but it may be in terms of hair styles or outfits I have not come to a decision.
